Schwarzenegger supported Harris in the US presidential elections
The "Terminator" star claimed that he was offended by representatives of the Republican Party for refusing to recognize Trump's defeat in the 2020 elections. Schwarzenegger was also outraged by the candidate's statement that America was "like a garbage dump for the rest of the world."
However, the former governor did not avoid criticism of representatives of the Democratic Party.
"I'm not shy about sharing my views, but I hate politics and don't trust most politicians. Let me be honest with you: I don’t like either party right now. My Republicans have forgotten the beauty of the free market, driven up deficits, and rejected election results. Democrats aren’t any better at dealing with deficits, and I worry about their local policies hurting our cities with increased crime," Schwarzenegger said.
Despite all the conflicting views on both candidates, the action star still claims that he will support Harris in this year's election.
"I want to tune out. But I can't. Because rejecting the results of an election is as un-American as it gets. And I will always be an American before I am a Republican.
That’s why, this week, I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz," Arnie said.
It should be reminded, that singer Beyonce previously expressed her support for Kamala Harris. Eminem also urged to vote for the Democratic representative.
