The rapper joined Harris's election campaign in Detroit. This city is special for Eminem, because he spent a significant period of his childhood there.
The musician from the stage urged Americans to vote for Harris, because she "supports the future of the country".

"I'm here today for a few important reasons. As many of you know, the city of Detroit and the entire state of Michigan mean a lot to me, and with this election coming up, the spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it's important to use your voice, so I urge everyone to come out and vote, please.
I also believe that people should not be afraid to speak their minds, and I don't think anyone wants an America where people are afraid of retaliation for speaking their minds. I think Vice President Harris supports the future of this country, where these and many other freedoms are protected and upheld," Eminem said.
After his speech, the rapper invited Barack Obama to the stage. The former US president unexpectedly began his speech by reading lines from the rapper's hit song "Lose Yourself".

It should be noted that Eminem supported Barack Obama during his presidential term, and then — the current US President Joe Biden. On the eve of the 2020 elections, the rapper released a campaign video with the song "Lose Yourself" with the appeal: "One chance... Vote!".
In addition, it is known that Eminem is an ardent opponent of the second candidate for the post of US President, Donald Trump. In October 2017, Eminem read an almost five-minute rap at the BET Awards ceremony, in which he ridiculed the 45th US President, who at that time was completing his first year in office.
As a reminder, singer Anastasia Prikhodko got into a scandal in Moldova because of posters with a call against the EU.
Previously, the stars of "Kvartal 95" trolled Donald Trump because of his campaign promises.
