Jake Schreier to direct new X-Men movie
A week after the premiere of Thunderbolts* in cinemas, it became known that Marvel Studios is considering Schreier as the main candidate to direct the next X-Men installment.
According to insiders, it is not yet known at what stage the negotiations between the parties are. However, the chances are very high that Schreier will become the main director.
For a long time, Marvel Studios was in no hurry to find candidates for the position, but the success of Thunderbolts* pushed them to take more active steps.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting the next movie in the X-Men Universe. As you know, the franchise has become one of the most successful and profitable for Marvel, but after the 2019 movie X-Men: Dark Phoenix, it needed a new look and a relaunch.
As a reminder, Marvel officially changed the name of Thunderbolts* a few days after the premiere, which angered fans.
