Galaxy users have to be patient once again: after the delay in the release of One UI 7, Samsung has pushed back the firmware distribution dates and now promises to complete the update only in mid-summer. The reason for this was a critical bug that prevented owners of some models from unlocking their smartphones. The company temporarily withdrew the firmware for the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 as soon as the problem was discovered.

It was reported by 9to5Google.

As a reminder, in the first quarter of 2025, Apple became the leader in terms of the number of smartphones sold for the first time, ahead of Samsung. In general, the global smartphone market grew by 3% during this period compared to the same period last year.

We also wrote that Samsung has announced that it will stop supporting the Galaxy S20 series. The line of smartphones was launched in 2020, and now owners of its devices should consider upgrading to newer devices.
