How the first generation iPhone revolutionized the world of technology
The original iPhone had a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels, a single 2-megapixel camera, and ran on the iOS 1 operating system (then called simply iPhone OS).
The total memory of the device was from 4 to 16 GB, and the RAM was only 128 MB. This was enough for basic tasks, but even these capabilities seemed fantastic at the time. The iPhone's touchscreen eliminated the need for a stylus and a physical keyboard. Jobs himself called the device a revolutionary and magical product.
iOS 1 was minimalistic. It included only the most essential apps:

- SMS;
- Safari web browser;
- calendar;
- iPod player;
- camera
- calculator.
The App Store didn't even exist back then, as the app store was only introduced in iOS 2 in 2008. Limited customization was available to users, and even the copy and paste feature came much later.
But it was this version of iOS that became the foundation for future generations of the operating system. The simple, easy-to-use interface won the hearts of users and set the standard for all Apple smartphones.
Now the iPhone 16 has become the pinnacle of technological progress
In September 2007, Apple introduced the iPhone 16. The modern flagship is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2556x1179 pixels. The displays in the Pro versions support ProMotion technology with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
The A18 Bionic processor is now one of the most powerful in the world, delivering incredible speed and energy efficiency. The memory is now 8GB, allowing you to handle even the most demanding tasks. The camera is another area where the iPhone 16 leaves its predecessor behind. The main module has a resolution of 48 megapixels and supports optical zoom.

The latest version of the iPhone operating system is iOS 18. One of the most important is the integration of Apple Intelligence. The main functions include image creation, text generation and automatic summarization of documents and mail. Now we can safely say that iPhone 16 is not just another smartphone, but a powerful tool for work and creativity.
