TOP 10 happiest cities in the world 2025 ranked
The list of the world's "happiest" cities has been released, and this year's ranking was topped by the European capital. The Happy City Index portal ranked cities on indicators such as governance and civic engagement, economy, health, environment, and mobility.

In which city do people live happily?
Copenhagen topped the list. The Danish capital is "a vibrant center of culture, government and economic activity". In addition, 69% of the city's transportation is "environmentally friendly". Copenhagen even has its own Museum of Happiness.
Zurich comes in second on the list. Switzerland's largest city is known for its economic strength, high quality of life, and commitment to sustainable development. Zurich also has many green transportation options and a reliable healthcare system.
Singapore rounded out the top three. It received high marks for its world-renowned universities, high levels of civic engagement, and extremely low unemployment.
