Samsung officially unveiled Galaxy S25 Ultra — what is the price

Samsung traditionally started the year with the presentation of a new line of smartphones, the flagship of which is the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The novelty has some differences from its predecessor Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Design and features
The Galaxy S25 Ultra retains its recognizable style, but has received noticeable changes:
- the display has expanded to 6.9 inches, thanks to even thinner bezels;
- the body is now narrower, thinner (162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm), and lighter (218 g);
- it features Gorilla Glass Armor 2, offering improved damage resistance (+29%);
- the design includes flat edges and rounded corners for a more comfortable grip.
In the base line, the smartphone has the following colors:
- titanium black;
- gray;
- silver and white;
- silver and blue.
Exclusive versions will be available for certain countries.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display (QHD+, 1-120 Hz) with high brightness, high quality color reproduction and light adaptation. The S Pen retains its key features such as minimal latency (2.8 ms) and high accuracy.
The smartphone received a new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which provides:
- up to 45% better performance;
- up to 30% faster graphics;
- up to 40% more efficient AI performance.
The new device will be available with 12 GB of RAM and 256/512/1 TB of internal storage.
The camera system has also been updated:
- 200 MP main camera with laser autofocus;
- 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with better detail;
- Two telephoto cameras with 3x and 5x optical zoom.
The new processor and software improve photo quality and add the ability to record video in Log format for professional editing.
The updated One UI 7 shell on Android 15 offers:
- integration with Gemini chatbot for smart teams (event creation, video analysis, etc.);
- new lock screen with Now Bar for real-time notifications;
- improved AI for working with photos, videos, and settings.
The new device has a 5000 mAh battery. It supports wired fast charging with a power of up to 45 W and wireless charging with a power of up to 15 W. There is also a reverse charging function.
Prices and sale date
According to confirmed information, the new product will go on sale in Ukraine on February 14. Prices are as follows:
- 256 ГБ — 1,523 USD (63 999 UAH);
- 512 ГБ — 1,618 USD (67 999 UAH);
- 1 ТБ — 1,809 USD (75 999 UAH).
The Galaxy S25 Ultra offers evolutionary improvements in design, cameras, and performance while maintaining the key features of the lineup.
As a reminder, Samsung plans to focus on ultra-thin design in the upcoming Galaxy S25 Slim. The smartphone may become the thinnest in the company's history.
