Hisense continues to develop its line of premium ultra-short throw home theater projectors. At CES 2025, the company announced the L9Q model equipped with a triple laser engine for 4K Google TV. The new model features high brightness, accurate color reproduction, high contrast and is equipped with ALR screens up to 150 inches.

This was reported by New Atlas.

What are the technical features of the Hisense L9Q laser projector

While full specifications, pricing and launch date have not yet been announced, Hisense says the L9Q will offer unique versatility, enhanced performance and a luxurious design that will redefine the home viewing experience.

The projector is powered by a TriChroma LED engine that delivers up to 5000 lumens of brightness, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, and 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut. The company promises unprecedented color accuracy and vibrancy, sharpness and depth of detail, and high-quality images even in well-lit rooms.

The L9Q offers a choice of five ambient light reflective screen options ranging from 100 to 150 inches.

The projector supports automatic screen adjustment as well as manual keystone correction for easy installation and seamless screen resizing.

The new product is powered by Google TV with access to your favorite streaming services, as well as hundreds of free TV channels and thousands of apps. The projector offers voice control via Google Assistant, as well as compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. For connecting media devices, there are HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports eARC.

The 6.2.2 speaker system delivers high-quality sound and supports Dolby Atmos and DTA Virtual X technologies for surround sound. Engineers were inspired by the design of Roman amphitheaters to optimize the sound.

The projector's black walnut and brushed metal cabinet is complemented by atmospheric lighting.

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, the L9Q debuted with an ultra-bright 2.9 gain screen that delivers 1500 nits of full-screen brightness, a first for the laser industry, according to the company.

As a reminder, at CES 2025, Lenovo showed a laptop with a revolutionary design. The Yoga Book 9i doesn't have a keyboard and touchpad, but instead has two screens.

We also wrote that CES is always full of innovative technological developments. However, among all the gadgets presented, you can come across some really strange devices.
