What is known about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim?

Galaxy S25 Slim is only 6.4 mm thick, making it extremely thin even by today's standards. Even with the camera module protrusion, the thickness is only 8.3 mm. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is 8.2 mm thick without the camera. According to preliminary data, the screen will measure from 6.7 to 6.8 inches diagonally, and its overall dimensions will be 159x76x6.4 mm.

The Galaxy S25 Slim has a flat bezel and screen that match the overall design of the S25 series. The body is made of glass and metal, and the main camera consists of three sensors. The location of the power and volume buttons also follows the device's laconic style. The bottom of the case houses the speaker grille, a USB-C port, and a microphone.

Samsung's previous record holder, the Galaxy A8 (4.9 mm), had a much smaller 3050 mAh battery. The Galaxy S25 Slim will have a larger battery, which adds even more appeal to this slim device.

There are three camera modules on the back of the smartphone: a 200 MP main camera (HP5), a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (JN5), and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The new ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) design allows the device to remain thin while providing high-quality optics for the telephoto lens.

Galaxy S25 Slim will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone will come with Android 15 and One UI 7. According to the results of Geekbench tests, the device scored 3005 points in single-core mode and 6945 points in multi-core mode.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be unveiled in May 2025. The device may be shown at the Unpacked event on January 22 along with the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, but the release is likely to take place later.
