Billionaire and founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, believes that artificial intelligence will eventually surpass human capabilities much earlier than currently believed. According to him, AI will surpass the intelligence of any person by the end of 2025.

He reported this on his social network X (Twitter).

When artificial intelligence will surpass the intelligence of all people

Musk predicts that artificial intelligence will surpass the intelligence of any person by the end of 2025, and possibly all people in 2027-2028.

"The probability that AI will surpass the intelligence of all people taken together by 2030 is ~100%," Musk notes in his post.

Elon Musk founded x.AI Corp to work in the field of artificial intelligence in 2023. Their first development was an AI chatbot Grok, which gives answers to text queries a little faster than ChatGPT, has access to the full database of posts on social networks, and can also generate high-quality images and work with code.

The billionaire was a co-founder of OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT. Musk is now suing the startup because the company wants to turn into a commercial one, although according to the published letters, he supported the commercialization of the startup. According to them, he also demanded to become CEO, receive a controlling stake and secure absolute control over the company.

In January 2018, he tried to merge OpenAI with Tesla, a company he controls. In February, Musk resigned as co-chairman of the board members of OpenAI after the failure of these negotiations.

As a reminder, the legal battle between Elon Musk and OpenAI continues. It became known that the billionaire sought to gain absolute control over the company in 2017.

We also wrote that Elon Musk seeks to create his own city Starbase, where the headquarters of SpaceX will be located. The company has already appealed to local authorities to hold elections for the registration of the new city.
